Technical Assistance and Services for Grassroots Members

WWA's Grassroots Technical Assistance Program provides local grassroots groups with the support they need to become effective activists. Benefits include consultation services for strategic planning, membership development and outreach, education on current laws and regulations, documenting user-conflicts, budgeting, and fundraising. Other benefits include a Grassroots Activist Toolkit, updates on national policy, website hosting, and opportunities for joint membership development.

Grassroots membership benefits include eight hours of educational and support services. And once you become a grassroots member, our technical assistance program offers a number of resource-pooling and cross-promotion opportunities, including assistance with mass communications and other services. And grassroots organizations can begin using WWA membership as a benefit of joining their organization, such as opting to automatically have their current members also become WWA members.
